Snare Drumming Technique and Reading Fundamentals Camp
The first of a two part series of snare drumming instructional camps focuses on helping second year middle school students through incoming high school seniors establish and reinforce the most critical of technique and reading concepts. Over a four day camp and twelve total hours of instruction time, students will receive clear and in depth instruction in the most foundational of snare drumming concepts.
Course Schedule
Part 1 Early Session June 6-9 (Limited to 8 students per class).

Each session will be from 1:00pm-4:00pm

Part 2:
Snare Drumming Technique and Rudimental Primer
Snare Drumming Technique and Rudimental Primer
The second of a two part course takes the Intermediate snare drummer to the early advanced stages of snare drumming technique and reading. Students interested in this course should be comfortable with and knowledgeable in the foundations established in Part 1 of this series. Intermediate students should be solid readers though all duple and triple based sixteenth note rhythms. Students interested in this course should also have a good understanding of performing using accent and tap levels through reading phases, and a good comfort level with flams and double stroke rolls. Students completing this 10 hour course will have a heightened sense of technical control and how to trouble shoot common performance and developmental problems in the early stages of their Rudimental interpretational skills.

Each session will offer a morning class from 8:00am-10:30am
